Welcome to the MSC Approach

Hello and welcome to MSC’s new blog. We created it because we love horses; as well as that, we are excited to have another medium of communication for those with a similarly keen interest. We think it integrates well with our Facebook and Twitter pages. After considering various options, we settled on MSCNaturally which we believe will provide the perfect platfoem as we dig deeper into what lies behind everyday horsemanship. We hope you will stay with us as we explore the furthest parameters of the horse/human dynamic and invite you to contribute at any time along the way.

As we live the through the days and early months of 2012, whether we are consciously aware of it or not, great changes are coming. We can already see how  old systems are crumbling, falling away to allow new structures and societal frameworks to appear. This is only the beginning of the “shift” which has been talked about even before the Harmonic Convergence began in 1987. The significance of this in relation to the horse is partially explained by the changes we see in our involvement with them. The umbrella term Natural Horsemanship came into popular use around this time in response to our desire to form a partnership more closely resembling those that exist between horses and as a friend we can trust as well.

Increasingly it is recognised that Natural Horsemanship and Self Development are mutually inclusive towards personal transformation and growth. Therapies involving horses are widespread, helping individuals, groups and organisations, with clearer communication, leadership, and improved mental health. In other words, horses are healers and authentic mirrors as they reflect and respond to our emotions. Their presence alone promotes an increased sense of well being, while their reactions provide accurate feedback about who we are moment by moment. They are fulfilling a unique role in our mental and spiritual development; millions of us can’t imagine life without them.

It is our deepest wish to bring attention to the many ways horses enhance our lives, leading to positive change. Without a life filled with horses, MSC might never have considered looking so closely at our collective thoughts, feelings, and actions in relation to their effect on other sentient beings. The Age of Aquarius signifies, among other things, universal awakening  with a strong focus on self help. Self development and transformation are more than buzz words and New Age speak, they are states of being people everywhere are aspiring to.

The MSC blog is dedicated to sharing the benefits horses bring to us on so many levels.
